Yesterday staff, students and community members of Coolamon Central School Celebrated NAIDOC week with a series of cultural events throughout the day.
Special guests were invited to the school to present their knowledge and skills to students and to teach important lessons about Indegionous culture and history.
Students were able to expirience and participate in events from a traditional smoking ceremony, guided by guest Luke Wighton, face painting, traditional art, native food tasting, boomerang throwing and a wide range of other cultural activities.
